Kerry James discusses current economic challenges with PM Gordon Brown

As Chair of Governors at a local Business Academy, Igneous Director Kerry James has a strong commitment to developing local schools, educational standards and business interaction. During the recent official opening of the Business Academy Kerry was able to discuss the challenges facing businesses and Local Authorities with Prime Minister Gordon Brown. Kerry says “Children are our next generation and it’s key that society looks after each and every aspect of their lives.

The recent significant investments in ICS have improved the way Local Authorities collect data about children but it’s now vital that this data is turned into meaningful information that can ensure a positive future for all of our children. Igneous have a firm commitment to developing solutions that have a positive impact on the welfare and safeguarding of adults and children, and will continue to develop relationships with organisations that have a like-minded approach to business.”

Thurrock Council revolutionises its services and performance.

Throughout the process to implement the Liquidlogic IAS system, Thurrock Council have had a highly innovative and forward thinking approach to performance management and management information. They consistently ensured that reporting was kept at the forefront of the project and as such were in a position to go live with reporting before the final go live of the overall IAS system. This highly proactive approach meant the local management information team were able to plan, develop and deploy outputs to end users via the Igneous SWIPE portal at a very early point.

The local management information team have worked closely with Igneous throughout the project. The working relationship adopted and the dedication from both sides has ensured a successful outcome which will now continue into the next phase to include the rollout of more detailed management information to aid day to day business.
